It's Only Rock N Roll But I Like It

Rock and Roll Photography is about more than getting a sharp picture of someone onstage. It’s about catching the sweat, the noise, the movement, the lights, and that split second when a live performance stops feeling like a show and starts feeling dangerous.
My approach to Rock and Roll Photography and Concert Photography is built around energy, timing, and authenticity. I’ve photographed artists including Perry Farrell with Satellite Party, Buckcherry, Black Stone Cherry, and Tyler Bryant, chasing the moments that actually feel like rock & roll... the expression between lyrics, the guitar hanging low, the crowd disappearing into the darkness, and the energy that only exists for a fraction of a second.
Great Live Music Photography is about anticipation. The lighting changes fast. The performers move faster. You don’t get unlimited chances. My job is to read the stage, watch the light, anticipate the moment, and capture photographs that feel as loud and alive as the performance itself

Whether I’m shooting a packed concert, a rock club, a festival stage, or an intimate live performance, I’m looking for the same thing: real moments, raw emotion, strong composition, dramatic stage lighting, and the personality of the artist coming through the frame.
My approach is simple: stay close, watch the light, anticipate the moment, and get the hell out of the way.
I want my Rock and Roll Photography to feel like you were there... loud, raw, sweaty, imperfect, and alive.
That’s rock & roll. I just happen to bring a camera.

## About

I photograph the split seconds that feel like you—the grin before the pose, the dog who refuses to sit, the room when the music finally hits. I’ve photographed rockstars, and I bring that same energy to everyday people—so you look and feel like one, too. Clean enough for the wall. Alive enough to remember.
